MGMT - Kids
I think i found what i want to be for halloween this year….
Men.Style.com just released a pretty extensive Spring 09 Buyers Guide. Generally I am pretty excited when I receive their weekly newsletter in my inbox. They usually have at least one feature that I am very happy with. When I saw that they were releasing their Spring Buyers Guide this week I couldn’t wait. So it came, and I spent a few minutes clicking through their 60-something products only to find myself a bit disappointed by the guide as a whole. Because of the state of the economy and after reading quotes like these: “Spring 2009 is the next stage in the evolution of the modern, style-conscious man’s wardrobe, and one that focuses on investment pieces” and, “…invest in must-have fashion that is memorable and adds value” I thought that I could expect a more cost-conscious Spring line with fashion that stuck to more traditional styles. Yeah so why throw a $1,715 blazer with paint splattered on it? There were about half a dozen items that I really liked, though, and i’m really happy to see a big spotlight on Blackbird in Seattle. My favorite item hands down were the blue-suede shoes especially after seeing this.
